Newcomer Enrollment Support
How to help Newcomer EL students enroll:
International Newcomer Center will contact families when a student(s) enrolls on Infinite Campus with a Student ID Number.
Parent/Guardian interviews will be conducted over the phone, and inquire about student(s) academic background, transcripts, and any previous English learning.
Information will be relayed to school staff through the following spreadsheet. This also includes course code recommendations.
Designated school site staff members will contact the family to bring the student to school, with any additional registration documents, when the site has a class schedule created and is ready for the student to begin classes.
If support is needed to contact the family in a language other than English, please contact language support services.
